Well Known Medical Universities in Ukraine:

Donetsk national medical university (DNMU) is one of the largest medical university of Ukraine. 

The University is located in Donetsk. It is the second best medical university of Ukraine and ranks 23 among the best universities in Ukraine. DNMU is relocated to Kirovohard in 2014, located in central Ukraine, close to the capital city - Kyiv. Approximately 4200 students are studying including from abroad are studying in this university.  DNMU has been teaching its students in accordance with the Bologna Agreement on specialists training using the credit-modular system, because of which by the end of study it’s possible for students to obtain a European degree. It is the first university to be recognized by World Health Organization (WHO) and from directory of – I Med Schools .It is registered with World Medical Universities List. DNMU is a non profit public higher education institution. DNMU is 86 years old institution and has a selective admission policy based on entrance examinations for the enrolment of students. The enrolment of students is done through agents. These agents play a vital role in the admissions and guidance as to the universities best for them. They provide various services to them to facilitate admissions. 



M.Gorky Donetsk National Medical University “DNMU” was the first medical university in Ukraine and in Eastern Europe who started the faculties of Medicine and Dentistry in English language for foreign students. Long experience in training of foreign specialists, highly qualified teaching staff and modern facilities – all guarantee high level of theoretical and practical training to the students of the University. Students of DNMU will be able to study various academic modules at practically any European medical University and after getting the Specialist Degree they will have very attractive employment prospective. 

DNMU attracts large number of foreign students in the field of medical owing to the good quality of education as compared to the low fee structure. At the M.Gorky Donetsk National Medical University there are eight faculties including a preparatory faculty for foreign students. The Donetsk National Medical University trains specialists along the following education or qualification levels as junior specialists, specialists, or Masters for the following specialties-  Medicine, Pediatrics, Dentistry, Pharmacy ,Nursing ,Public Health, Post-Graduate Education, Preparatory Department

Donetsk National Medical University provides training in English, Russian and in Ukrainian languages in all faculties. DNMU provides accommodation facilities to the students in its campus. The campus of the university has libraries, computer classes, reading halls, sports club, health care centres etc for the students and faculties. The developed infrastructure of the campus enables to create satisfactory conditions for the students to study and give maximum out of them. DNMU provides academic as well as non academic facilities and services to the students.  The duration of study depends upon the courses taken by them. Normally in the range of 5-6 years . The Post Graduate courses vary from 2-3 years.
